God is Love

We are all very familiar with John 3:16 which tell us

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
I must admit that there have been times when I have read that verse and took God's love for granted. But I have learnt to meditate on God's love for us - that He was willing to give up His Son for mankind, for us...for me!


1 John 4:19 tells us that we love, because he first loved us. God chose us and loved us even while we were sinners, and sacrificed Jesus for us, so that we would have His righteousness and eternal life with Him.


How amazing is that! How amazing is God's love!





Inspired by 1 John 4:8: Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love, the reversible pendant is a wonderful reminder that God loves us, and as His Beloved, we too should manifest His love in our lives and share it with others.
